Robotoplus at MachTech & InnoTech Expo 2026 in Sofia

Robotoplus is taking part in MachTech & InnoTech Expo 2026, the international specialised exhibition for machines, technologies and industrial equipment, from 6 to 9 October 2026 at Inter Expo Center in Sofia. It is a trade fair for people who run production: machine tools, metalworking, industrial controls, robotics. That is a different audience from a technology forum, and it deserves a different conversation.

A humanoid does not replace your industrial robot.
If a task is done in one place, on parts that always arrive the same way, a fixed industrial arm does it faster and for less money, and we will say so on the stand. The machines we supply earn their place somewhere else: in work that was laid out for a person and moves between stations, and in places nobody wants to rebuild around a robot cell.
Where each kind of machine fits.
The machine on our stand is the AGIBOT G2, a wheeled humanoid built for industrial work: force-controlled arms on a stable base, which in return needs a flat, continuous floor and cannot manage a step. A walking humanoid handles thresholds and ramps and pays for it in runtime. A robot dog does no work with its hands at all. It walks a route over stairs, gravel and grating and carries whatever the round needs: a thermal camera for a hot bearing, a gas sensor for a leak. Which of them a plant needs is usually decided by the floor and the task, not by the specification sheet.
What to bring to the stand.
One task, described plainly: what is handled, how often, on what floor, and what happens today when the person who does it is away. With that we can tell you in a few minutes whether it is a job for one of our machines, for a conventional industrial robot, or for nothing yet. The last answer is cheaper to hear at a fair than after an order.
After the fair.
A stand shows a machine. It does not show that machine on your line. For that we run workshops and bounded proof-of-concept projects, at our premises or on your site, and part of the range can be rented for a trial before anything is bought. In the same week part of our team is at CONNEXUS 2026 in Varna, so if Sofia is the wrong city for you, Varna may be the right one.

Write to us before you come and we will agree a time, so that you are not left waiting for a free engineer. The opening hours and visitor registration are on the fair's own site, linked below this article.

What a humanoid robot can actually do today

The honest answer sits in payload, joint and sensor figures already published for this catalogue, not in what a demo video implies, and a two-week trial is how to find the edge of it rather than guessing from a spec sheet.
