Choosing a cleaning robot

This is a facilities purchase before it is a robotics one: a machine that sweeps, wet-scrubs and dry-mops a large commercial floor in one pass, then returns to its own dock to recharge, refill and drain without anyone attending it. Reach for one when the job is a big, repetitive floor that already needs cleaning on a schedule, not a one-off or a small footprint a mop handles faster.

Coverage rate decides whether it fits your site, not the headline photograph.
The C5 covers up to 1,920 m² an hour at up to 840 mm wide with its side brush extended. Measure your own floor plan against that before assuming a robot sized for a supermarket also suits a corridor-heavy office fit-out.
Wet and dry work run on different clocks.
Scrubbing runs about 3 hours before recharging is needed; dry dust-mopping runs about 8. A site that needs both a wet clean and dry maintenance passes across a shift is running two duty cycles on one machine, and the schedule should say so rather than assuming one number covers both.

The docking cycle is what makes back-to-back runs possible at all: charging, water refill and drain, and a 4-minute tank self-clean, all without a person meeting the robot at a tap.

What a cleaning deployment actually needs

The robot is the straightforward part. What decides whether it earns its keep is the same as for any machine working an unattended shift on a floor other people also use.

Cleaning around people, not instead of them.
The robot works fastest with a floor to itself, so most sites run it outside opening hours or on a rota with existing cleaning staff. A schedule built without checking the venue's actual quiet hours is a schedule that gets overridden by a stopped robot on day one.
Elevator and access-control integration is a coordination task before it is a technical one.
The robot can move between floors and through secured doors on its own, but only once the building's own systems have been told to let it through. That is usually a conversation with whoever runs facilities and access control, arranged before delivery, not a setting the robot changes on its own.
Someone still owns the exceptions.
A robot that docks, refills and cleans itself to schedule can still get stuck, run low on cleaning solution mid-shift, or miss a spill outside its route. Agree up front who is notified when that happens and what they do next, the same as for any unattended round.
