What actually happens to your data when you send a robotics supplier an enquiry
A contact form is usually the least-scrutinised page on a site, and the honest answer to what happens after clicking submit is worth stating with the same specificity as a product's own numbers.
- The contact form collects exactly what it says it collects, and nothing is inferred beyond it.
- A name, an email address, a phone number and platform of interest where given, the message itself, the page the enquiry was sent from, the language it was read in, and the time the privacy policy was accepted. That reaches Robotoplus as an email; the endpoint writes no message content to any log, so what is written exists in one inbox and nowhere else.
- An IP address is held for up to ten minutes to stop one sender flooding the form, and that is the entire extent of what is automatically collected.
- It is never written to disk, never logged, and never attached to the enquiry itself. That is a narrower automatic-collection footprint than most contact forms on the open web, and it is stated as a specific number rather than a general reassurance.
- No advertising, no profiling, no automated decision-making, and no third-party embeds are stated as explicit commitments, not omissions.
- The product films are served from the site's own domain rather than a video platform, so watching one contacts nobody else. No analytics of any kind currently runs and the site loads no third-party script at all; if that changes, the commitment is that it will be a cookieless counter, loading only after a visitor allows it, stated on the same page first.
- Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months, and one cookie handles consent for 6.
- The retention period exists so a conversation can be picked back up without starting over; after that, it is deleted unless a contract changes the applicable retention period under Bulgarian accounting and tax law. The single cookie, ROBOTOPLUS_CONSENT, stores a cookie choice and nothing else, kept for six months so the same question is not asked on every page.
A supplier's data practices are as checkable as a product's specifications, stated on the same page rather than buried in boilerplate, and worth reading before an enquiry is sent rather than after.
